Abstract
As a result of curatorial activites realized in the Museum of Marine Natural History of Colombia, Makuriwa-Invemar, on the material deposited by consulting companies hired by oil and gas operators, 13 new records of deep-water species were recognized within the families Nematocarcinidae, Acanthephyridae, Aristeidae, Oplophoridae, Glyphocrangonidae, and Alvinocarididae (Caridea) and four within amphipods families Eurytheneidae, Scopelocheiridae, and Uristidae. These represent new records for the country, and some are also new records for the Caribbean Sea and the Western Atlantic.
