Abstract

Without being a taxonomist, molecular barcoding offers the opportunity to reliably identify species (if they are present in the database) or to classify the diversity of a sample. This course will give an introduction into molecular methods for biodiversity analyses. Within the two days course the participants will get hands on the related wet lab work and basic bioinformatics. Day 1 is filled with lab work; day two is reserved for joint analysis and questions.
