Abstract

Tropische küstenökosysteme sind biologisch und ökologisch äußerst vielfältig. Zugleich sind Küstenregionen der Tropen häufig dicht besiedelt. Eine große Abhängigkeit der Anrainer von den Ökosystemen und eine starke Nutzung oder Übernutzung sind die Folge.
