Abstract

The Faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences (FCSH) and the Faculty of Maritime Engineering and Marine Sciences (IFCM), in conjunction with the Society Liaison Unit of ESPOL University, Ecuador, are pleased to invite the polytechnic community to the theoretical/practical course "Qualitative Ethnographic Research: An Overview", which will be delivered by M.A. Anne Broocks, a doctoral candidate at the University of Bremen, Germany. The course aims to instruct participants on methods of searching, collecting and analysing qualitative ethnographic data and ethics in research. The course will be held in English, with a total of 8 hours. Certificates of completion will be awarded to those participants who meet the requirements.
